Seven

Name: Lochlan

Age: 28

Hometown: Palmerston North, New Zealand

Current Location: Kochi, Japan

Job: Long-term holiday

Current Inspiration: I watch people and whatever I like is my inspiration, but I have to take the middle ground as I can't wear (fit) what a lot of Japanese do.

As I am practically a vagrant I keep my dress somewhere between casual and that of a homeless person. So I will often be seen in something similar to this picture; a pair of comfy jeans and a t-shirt. In this picture I am actually wearing a purple t-shirt which is the first one I have ever owned. Next I will be wearing pink, perhaps.

I am always looking to add to my collection of japanese t-shirts with funny/crazy slogans on them, all though as the weather gets colder the shops only stock long sleeve t-shirts, and I hate long sleeve t-shirts.

Anyway perhaps this blog will inspire me to wear something a bit different, and if I do, YOU will be the first to know.

  2. thanks, yeah I like the pattern, and purple is something different for me, my hair is actually sandy brown - the webcam photo is really crappy. I had to look up what Argyle is!

  4. do you hate long sleeve shirts because if you wear them you can't look extra macho like that by folding your arms to prop up the guns

  5. Yeah thanks mike, you may notice that my fingers, on one side at least, are on top of my arms (the other hand is down by my elbow - look at the angle of my wrist), so for me that is just the normal way I fold my arms. I took a bunch of photos in poses not dissimilar to 'the fresh prince of Iwaki' but I thought they looked stupid so I went with the folded arms - I figured someone would give me grief about it. BTW unfortunately I have nothing that even resemble biceps so it is just an optical illusion of fat pressed against my chest. ;-)

That picture at the top of yur blog is really cool.
